I guess I was lucky - when I first moved out of my parents' house (many, many moons ago) I lived in a large apartment. And from Day One, I had a library/den/game room - a room for all my stuff, with a large table on which to work on projects large and small and to game with my friends, and with space for all of my books and other gaming materials.
That situation lasted for around six years. Then came family, new job(s), new living situations, etc. As a result, I haven't had real a room devoted to my hobbies since the mid-nineties. Such is life.
Now that we're empty-nesters, though, all that's changed again. I once again have a room for all my stuff! I have to admit, I'm having trouble adjusting to having my own hobby space - it's been so long since I've had a dedicated space that I don't quite know what to do with myself.
I'm sure I'll figure it out, though...

What I'm currently working on - the table is actually three 2'x4' folding tables so I have multiple layout options |
The bookshelves - these are the main RPGs we play; the 2nd string RPG books live on a shelf elsewhere |
Your bookshelves look eerily familiar to mine, in so many ways lol
